Urgent: Sign This Petition to Clean Up the Federal Charter Schools Program
For the first time since the federal Charter Schools Program was established in 1994, the U.S. Department of Education is setting forth meaningful regulations to bring greater transparency and stop waste and fraud.
These rules will make a tremendous difference in stopping the spread of charters run for profit and ensuring that charters that increase segregation and cause public school closures will not be funded.
